Role Summary

As a senior associate, Japan Merchant Success, you will support the coordination and optimization of marketing-BD collaborations to drive engagement and growth. You will act as a bridge between Japan’s BD team and overseas marketing teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment. This role involves managing campaign-related operations, maintaining the effectiveness of communication channels, and improving workflows.

What you’ll do

• Communication Enhancement: Develop and maintain comprehensive and up-to-date working calendars across multiple markets, aligning marketing promotions with BD product readiness and deal acquisition

• Campaign Coordination: Support BD in managing campaign sponsorships by handling documentation, including Japanese localization, reporting, and ensuring timely execution of all tasks.

• Workflow Optimization: Improve BD's efficiency and productivity by collaborating with stakeholders to streamline processes and communication between Marketing and BD teams.

• Business Analysis & Optimization: Provide BD with data-driven insights to enhance merchant performance, improve promotions, and drive future campaign signups.

What you’ll need

• 2+ years of experience in operations, marketing coordination, business support, or a related role in e-commerce.

• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in workflow optimization and cross-functional collaboration is a plus.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese (business level) and English (business level). Fluency in Chinese is a plus.

• Data-driven mindset with the ability to extract insights from reports and campaign performance data. Proficiency in using SQL or Python is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Google Scripts) is an advantage.
